Ruut is a visual designer consistently striving for equally accessible, beautiful and functional UIs.
A deep digger, Ruut is not one for quick judgements. Then again, her careful, thorough approach produces both functional design and happy clients!
Ruut’s strong interest in graphic design theory has resulted first in a bachelor’s, then a master’s degree from Uni Lapland. Digital accessibility is Ruut’s interest no 1 and also the main objective in her work. For her, accessibility is much more than contrast checks, it’s about broadening general usability into genuine understandability.
When Ruut’s not spinning the colour wheel, she’s probably busy watching a film nobody’s heard of (or wants to see), getting high on Bach or seeking out some hidden brutalist architecture gems.
